About the shirt design contest
Our Membership Shirt Design Contest has closed, and we are so excited and grateful for the 12 entries we received. Congratulations to our winners: first place went to Connie Gotz, second place to Rylee Dunn, and third place to Bailey Mruzik.
So much talent went into every entry — it was a difficult contest to judge! Thank you to Kalei Hoppert, Kaylee Allen, Callie Krieger, Lydia Kozlowski, Donell Strine, Connie Gotz (who submitted two designs), Jeremy Somers, Janna Millner, Lauren Kopp, Rylee Dunn, and Bailey Mruzik for sharing their artwork and heart with us. Two entries even featured our own shelter dog, Popeye!
Every $1 vote helped provide food, flea and tick medication for the animals in our care, and we're at $3,790 raised so far with a few pledges still coming in. Thank you also to the sponsors who hosted our voting events: Pavlov's Brewing Co., The Michigan Wine and Beer Portal, Jerry's Frenchtown Bar and Grill, Mugsy's Sports Grille & Bar, Dirty Birdie, Casa De Margarita, and Applebee's.
