ANIMAL RESCUES:
If you find an animal in distress and in need of assistance, you can contact one of the following rescue groups. As much as we love animals and do our best to care for the many stray dogs and cats in Monroe County, we do not currently have the funds, staff or resources to rescue and pickup animals. We are able to care for the animals you can bring to us, including strays and surrenders. The following groups are able to rescue animals in need.
